The 2009 Carbon Copy Pro 90 Day Challenge Achieved.
In February 2008 I decided to live the dream that Napoleon Hill awakened in me and
that was to have my own successful Internet Marketing Home Based Business.
“Success comes to those who become success conscious and failure comes to those who allow themselves to become failure conscious. Another weakness found in altogether too many people, is the habit of measuring everything and everyone, by their own impressions and beliefs.”(Napoleon Hill)
When I first read the title of Napoleon Hill’s book, Think and Grow Rich, I believed that no one could do that, think and grow rich. I mean that sounds absurd. I could not think in terms of riches, because my thoughts and habits have been steeped up in poverty, want, misery, failure and defeat.
Reading the book changed my mind and my life dramatically.
I have been retired from my full time position as a Financial Manager with a big Corporate Company for many years.
Although I worked with computer programs I actually had no computer or marketing skills. My IT staff had been the ones who knew their way around the computers and there was no need for me to learn about it.
Still I decided to live my dream and start my own Home Based Business.
I did my research thoroughly and decided on joining a Company called Carbon Copy Pro or otherwise known as CCPro. What I loved about the system was that it is a complete marketing system that has been co-founded and developed by Jay Kubassek to help solve problems most people face in a home based business and they provide you with all the tools to succeed. Imagine this. They even close your deals for you.
I started out with Carbon Copy Pro but just could not get my Business off the ground.
I studied every marketing method and tried to do all at once. Big mistake. I knew I needed a mentor to assist me in this process.
Then one night I attended a training webinar and heard some of the attendees mentioned a program called the 2009 Carbon Copy Pro 90-Day Challenge presented by DK,Howie and Jimmy. I made a few phone calls and was able to register for this course. I had to get up at h4:00 am to be able to attend these webinars live.
One of the products promoted by Carbon Copy Pro is the M2 Wealth Conference and I attended one of these conferences in Marco Island Florida during November 2008.
During this time I happened to meet Jimmy personally.
The evening of February 23, 2009 was the last of the weekly webinars. We had a wrap up webinar, on March 2, 2009. One of the instructors asked us to record our progress during this 90day period.
So what have I accomplished during this period of time? Maybe the most important lesson I learned was that nothing in life just happens. You must make it happen. Being successful in the Home Based Industry, or any Industry for that matter, you must follow the 3 simple rules of Napoleon Hill. Have a burning desire to be a successful Internet Marketer, have a definite plan and the most important of the three is take action.
The take action part has always been my biggest hurdle to cross in life. I am forever getting ready, to get ready, to get ready. This 90day challenge have showed me the
power of taking action.
I have learned about writing articles and have posted articles which earned me expert status with Ezine Articles, created a blog, set up my own website and am in the process of setting up my own landing pages for CCPro. As of today I have 275 followers on twitter and my Facebook account is recently set up and I have 201 followers.
Thinking back I realize that I have learned a lot and achieved much with the 90day challenge but also know that this is the beginning of great things for my business.
This was the building block I needed to put my mindset in the right prospective and have the tools now to grow my business to the next level.
For you out there that do not believe that you can start something totally out of your league at retirement, without having the technical computer skills or marketing background. Well think again, anything is possible if you have the right mindset and the desire to achieve success.
Internet Marketing is very exiting and I would like to encourage any of you that are thinking of starting your own Home Business and work full time from home to go for it. This is the right time to do it. If you ever have the opportunity to attend the 90day challenge course. Don’t even think twice just grab the opportunity.
